On the Universal App with a computer, user’s own account appears as a friend under an experience when playing on another device

Reproduction Steps

  1. Open the Universal App on a computer.
  2. With the same account on another device, join any experience.
  3. Refresh the homepage by clicking the “Home” button to display the experience that you joined on the other device under the “Continue” tab, if necessary.
  4. On your computer, observe how your account appears as a friend under the experience you joined on the other device.

Expected Behavior
On the Universal App with a computer, a user’s own account should not appear as a friend under an experience when playing on another device.

Sorry for the late response here! The engineers are aware of this. We’ll follow up when we have an update.

This bug is still happening and no engineer have followed up with this bug report yet. It’s been almost 6 months.

Just reached out to the engineers for an update here.

Sometimes it would even show me this message if I leave a game I’ve played and rejoin it even though I am not playing Roblox in any other device.

I can confirm that this bug is still occuring. It would be great to have it fixed, even though it’s not critical.

I confirm that the bug no longer appears for me and tiles appear normally as they should now.
