Only Display Usernames in Group Audit Logs

As a Roblox developer and group owner, it is currently confusing and difficult to track user actions in groups because display names and usernames are used interchangeably in the audit log.

As you can see below, two users have the same display name, but different usernames. At first glance, there is good reason for confusion over who deleted what.

I am proposing that the audit log only display group members usernames so that group admins can easily and clearly identify which user is committing which action.

Additionally, this should apply to the Revenue page and anything else pertaining to the Group Admin in general.

I pay out over 180 people from my group every week. I need to check the audit log to make sure this happens correctly. Display Names make that extremely hard.

I just ran our payout script and wanted to check it paid people as expected. Who is this person who got paid so much more than everyone else? I’ve never seen their name before. We might’ve paid the wrong people!

Ok, after digging, this is the person I expect to get paid a large amount. But as far as I can tell it’s actually ambiguous which account got paid. Is there any way to tell for sure? I think it’s impossible to tell from an audit log who performed an action if they have a common DN like “Bob.”

I don’t think there’s any point in using DN’s in audit logs. I’m reading the log to unambiguously see who did what, when.
