What is Dystovia?
Dystovia is the name of an open world action adventure rpg in the works for 2 1/2 years with a small group behind it. The game is inspired by the likes of Dark Souls, Zelda Breath of The Wild and other titles such as Diablo. This combination of inspiration is what could make this game truly special with a heavy focus on advanced combat with difficult enemies, a user custom experience with character customization, talent- & skill trees combined with a huge world offering a new exploration experience without much separation, thus in an effort to make it more coherent.
We are now realising after 2 of the long term devs left, for their own reasons, that this would not become reality without a bigger team and that is where we are now - searching for developers interested in working on this project.

Expectations for the job
We are hiring

We are looking for professional animators and modellers that can commit to a long-term project. We expect that you can adapt to the game’s style and that you are communicative as well as having a positive attitude towards the project. With that said, everything about the game is up for discussion and
I am ready to develop your ideas into the game if I find that they do not obstruct with what the game is set up to be.
Specific expectations for the Animator
As an animator you have to be experienced in your craft and that comes with being able to make high quality animations that you would even possibly see outside of Roblox.
Important to note that every model used in the game is a custom rig with animals, (Deer, rabbits and wolves) to mobs, (goblins, ogres, sea lurkers) to the player and npc-model.
Specific expectations for the Modeller
You will be making different assets, (Rings, hair, necklaces, armors, furniture) structures (Ruins, houses, dungeon) all in a medieval-fantasy esque style.
The title is specifically modellers because we do not want buildings made purely with Roblox’ tools but instead assets exported from 3d-modelling software such as Blender.
Specific expectations for the Audio maker
You will be mostly making small sound bits for sword fighting (Attacking, blocking, parrying), environmental sounds, (Wind, water, fire, possibly birds), and sound effects for different items in the game, (potions, buying, selling).
If you put together music tracks then it would be an added bonus for us if you are able to make the game’s soundtrack, although that aspect is covered if we do not have a custom-made one.
Payment
We are paying through percentages from the profit. This is a passion project and we would not want developers to only work for the revenue but also for the interest in collaborating on this project.
