Would it be possible to have the button locator use BasePart instead? There’s some issues I’ve noticed with using Beams that BasePart could mitigate.

The big thing I’ve noticed is that Beams do not appear above other parts, whereas the locator in the main Flood Escape 2 does.


I’ve also noticed that the locator beam becomes either barely visible or not visible at all when facing it from a straight up view, this could be due to FaceCamera not being enabled.

One of the locator beam attachments is also not centered with the player’s HumanoidRootPart.

Not to necropost, But this game kinda looks undetailed

I mean, what is THAT GUI!?!?, i could try improving it in an hour or so

it does say test, so im assuming it just exists to test map concepts

Hi, are you adding the shop?

Also is there a way of closing the ‘Game Menu’ once you select something there seems to be no easy way of closing the UI / GUI… how about a red X on each one to close it?

Rip, hope you regain motivation, there is still quite a bit of stuff that this game could have such as further Timeline support

Found bugs:

Acid doesn’t increase the air drain rate and lava functions like normal water. May have something to do with how the game changes water states

Also unsure if intentional but the intensity doesn’t decrease when players die and if mapvoting is turned off the game still choses any map.

Rescue bots constantly move towards you, resulting in you getting pushed endlessly.

Quite alot of infinite yields (button locator and the timeline scripts)

Nice game, but not sure if I really see the use of it as a community resource.

Probably MORE than that. Someone will probably steal the game and publish it themselves claiming it to be theirs.

I suggest you don’t make it open source. Hate to break it to you, but there are messed up people in this world. And they couldn’t care any less if a random robloxian told them to credit their game, they will just steal it.

I mean the original open flood test was open-source and anyone was allowed to use it.
The only real “community-resource” purpose it has is making flood escape fan games or testing FE2CM maps and thats what its intended to be used for.

Same applies here but with more features.
