Opening up Marketplace to More Creators

Roblox should relapse the form so people like you can’t abuse it, I’m absolutely sick of people with stupid opinions thinking they can take down whatever because they feel like it, I’ve had random accessories within my inventory, even dynamic heads taken out because of form abuse, I’m not the biggest fan.

This can be great for people with talent and creativity to create cool accessories, but at the same time it will be catastrophic, I wish luck to those who moderate the catalog and the avatar items…

I know sharkblox had some trouble with people using the form to remove his items (iirc)

Alright! Public UGC! Let’s see how this goes…

oh well thats me out of that
Well on the other hand of ugc limiteds, shouldn’t be too expensive to upload stuff like that-

…WHY?
Lots of free ugc limiteds are high stock and that’s already really expensive. Why increase the price of stock? It’s practically harder to upload high stock free ugc.

I still don’t have UGC access, I’m ID verified and have Roblox Premium, I’ve sent two UGC applications in the past years and it seems like Roblox hates me. I never got a reply whether I’m accepted or not, even though I tried my best.

Again, people who violate rules and want to act maliciously are the ones who are being accepted :')

that was when dsa just became a thing, right now they take way more time because they focus on actual things rather taking down innocent items.

Limiteds arent looking so good right now…. its so joever

People are overestimating the “damage” this update will do, are people not seeing the several walls it takes to actually upload an item?

  • Verified ID
  • Premium 1000
  • Good standing moderation status
  • Very costly and nearly impossible to profit from the majority of uploads

Theoretically, lets say someone uploaded an item which is against the rules, the odds are, someone will use the DSA report form on it, and it’ll be deleted - the person would then get a potential upload ban/account ban, and if it was permanent, they would then need to do all the above again, which would be difficult considering you need a verified ID and with the high prices, its not even worth it to break tha rules! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Are we supposed to wait for a while after we subscribe to premium?
Cuz i don’t have access to publish an accessory.

That would take 100 accounts stacked with Robux, all with unique ID’s & with Premium 1000 which would be $1,000 in premium memberships :skull: to make zero profit because it would just be taken down anyway, not happening !

Unless you have the money to go for it

As if bots re-uploading “y2k aesthetic vamp skull hoodie” shirts quintillion times over wasn’t bad enough…

Yeah, I agree. My personal take on this is that now there will be seriously more competition, and this update will crush the motivation on well known UGC creators in the community, knowing darn well that their item is going to get blown out of the water by someone who uploads a fake sparkle-time fedora or even fake headlesses.

I feel like this update is probably the worse update they have ever done to UGC, and this crushed a ton of creators.

It would actually cost around 4,000 dollars, per the publish fee, even more depending on which needs published.

This new era will cause a permanent quality shift in the marketplace

I bought the premium 1000 and ID-verified on my account and cannot upload Accessories through the studio yet. When will I be able to?

I am late, However. Please Revert this. At the very least revert the free ugc stock price changes, It costed 20,000 for 1k stock hat accessory. Now? It costs 100k. it is quite frankly impossible to do UGC nowadays as a viable career.

Now someone please hand me a McDonalds job application

Really disappointed with the new per unit fee. Another avenue to promote games is gone after you already 10x the price of sponsored experiences just a few months ago. Please stop putting us through a roller coaster of policy changes and revise this
