Haven’t done much in blender, this is what I have created so far. Critique?
(My Most Favorite)
These are great, very realistic. The lightning, is just absolutely amazing.
But on the first one…
Lightning is a bit weird, if the number one snowflake was shaded, it may look better.
But, if the snowflake is laying on the ground and the sun is shining on it, I can understand how it looks currently.
These are just my opinions. 
I’ve gotta say, I disagree.
The first one is my personal favourite because it looks like its “core” is filling the rest of the snowflake with warmth from the core-outwards- making it look subtle but nice.
The second one is nice, but it looks too exaggerated. The sun rays are extremely evident, but the first one has some kind of gentleness to it.

First Render
In the first render I really like the choice of colours and you have put just the right amount of colours into it, but there are two things that seem a bit unusual, the first thing is that the snowflake is plain because most of the render is just the lighting and the second thing is that the image is slightly blurred.
Second Render
As for the second render, the image is also a bit blurred and seems to be over-sharpened which could be seen in the image below, maybe this is just my PC but I thought that I could just let you know. The choice of colours isn’t really too good for the second render because oh the ‘orange leaf’ and the purple outline, maybe perhaps you could go for a white outline or something like it.
