Probably 10, makes the most sense to me.

12 would be best, tbh. That number just resonates with me.

Thanks both for reporting and bringing this to our attention. These FPS issues should be resolved now–please let us know if you still run into this issue.

Are there any future plans to increase party’s max member amount?

6 is too less sometimes.

Also will we be able to use voice chat in party chat on the future?

We’re actively working on improving the overall party experience and this is definitely something we’re excited to bring to everyone in the future as well

Hi! I wanted to ask if you all were going to add proximity voice chat but you can only talk to your party member with proximity. I think this would be good so random people won’t listen to you talk if you want immersive proximity chat. And also will this be available on web or only the app?

Hi @ZareteWZ !

Privacy is at the top of our priority list. With that in mind, we’re building out party voice to be separate from in-game voice. This way, your discussions with your party remain within the party. This ensures that folks outside your party cannot eavesdrop on your conversations.

For initial launch, we’ll only have support for users in the app.

Are there just gonna be two separate VC toggles, or will you only be able to speak within a party if you’re in one?

You’ll only be able to speak in a party if you’re in a party

Is there any chance of this changing somehow in the future? The primary reason anybody would want to be in a party is to easily join servers with friends and speak to friends from anywhere within the experience (if it isn’t still proximity based, which it isn’t from as much as the trailer shows). Losing out on the ability to voice chat with other people in experience may discourage people from using the feature. (especially considering alternatives such as discord exist)

It is crazy how some of yall are too young to realise this is not new.

doesnt xbox have its own party thing? there wouldnt be a need to add party to xbox. maybe just playstation

Players will be able to choose whether they want to be in party voice vs experience voice chat. Players will also be able to swap from one to another whenever they want to

Two more questions about party voice chat sorry…

  • Will you be able to voice chat in the app?

  • Will you be able to voice chat in different experiences, or only the same experience?

No worries!

Yes

The team working on this made some pretty sweet changes that allow for you to chat with your party mates even if they’re in a different experience from yourself. Even if you’re not in an experience, you’ll be able to still converse via voice with your party mates.

When will the new material UI come to the Roblox app, or is that classified info?

Is this on the website or just the app?

Edit: its only on the app for now

Why not add a chat channel for parties instead of creating a separate chat window?
