Will there be a way to send videos or pictures in the party chat?

With the audio update and this posted almost in the same hour Idk how to feel anymore.
One of my questions is how are developers going to be able to use this feature.

They state it in the message you quoted. Developers will be able to make sure that members of a party are paired on the same team, etc. Possibly even let the party leader choose music to play for the whole party.
That’s correct. For now, we’re only providing full support for users in the app
Party invites will be automatically broadcasted to all members of the thread when a user clicks the “Start” button
If you invite users to party via the party invite page, the invitee will also receive a notification (push/toast)
Party experience invites will always be automatically broadcasted to all party members if a party members clicks on the “Join with party” button
It won’t automatically invite party members upon joining a game. A party member will need to click on the “Join with party” button inside the app in order to broadcast a party experience invite to party members
Unfortunately, this isn’t available yet but keep your eyes peeled for future updates!

They should either not implement that at all, or restrict it to people who are ID-verified AND no younger than seventeen or eighteen.

Roblox’s built-in low quality video recorder doesn’t even exist on mobile if I’m not mistaken, and I think they’d have a hard time reviewing every item to check that it was taken inside Roblox.
He’s referring to captures, I believe.

Thanks for the feedback! We’re starting with 6 as that was previous group chat maximum, but we’re looking into increasing this for Party in the future. Out of curiosity, how many friends do you expect to be able to join together with?

Thanks, I already read that part. But what I really meant if How do I know that I’m teleporting a group. Especially for level based games where requirements must be met.
Although this feature is supposed to release in 2025 so I guess I’ll learn soon enough.
nice useful update, but can we get an eta to the new ui design? it looks nice
edit: wait a minute, isnt the normal chat interface (platform) locked to 13+? means this feature is 13+?
apparently as stated in the OP, <13s will be able to form groups of 6 for parties (unless disabled through parental controls) and will (I think) be able to send and accept invites to games but party chat will not be available; they will only be able to use public chat in-game.

This is kinda crappy i have a few complaints
For some goddamn reason, when you are inside a party chat, you lose FPS for some reason, this only happens when you are inside one, if you leave your FPS instantly improves.
Examples:
My FPS when i am in a party chat
My FPS when i am NOT in a party chat
Please fix this, i dont understand how this happens but my FPS get low and get locked around 45 fps for some reason.
Also, add party chats to the main website please

Glad to say this rolled out to me!
My limit is 5, for whatever reason. Preferrably 10 people minimum if possible, as this is the maximum size for a Discord group chat, and probably what people are using while in a party.

Sound like a great update! No more asking people what their “disco uusseerrnnaammee” is! (Not like I would ever do that…)
Hopefully this can actually be implemented well enough. Will you automatically be placed in a private server when using Party? If there isn’t already a feature (or something similar) where you can ask other people to join a private server and everyone in the party gets reconnected to the private server, I think it would be pretty helpful.

so they wont make party leaders follow everyone into one game immediately like example: “Epstein Island Obby” or something made in 2024 thats horrible
