I’m hoping this limit gets pushed up to around 10. I feel like this is the maximum number of people you can have on a voice call before chaos ensues. Most groups aren’t of this size, but having the option for larger parties would allow those that are to play seamlessly.
I experienced this issue too while playing World Zero. My FPS is regularly above 100 fps but as soon as I got into a Roblox party my FPS dropped to around 40 fps.
In case this information is relevant here, I play on Windows 10. Processor is Intel 12400. GPU is AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT. I have 32 GB of RAM. I have to imagine if this performance hit wasn’t only happening under certain circumstances that it would’ve been caught before release, so I imagine the specific parts in our systems may be useful info.
They’re just mimicking popular features and improving their platform, they’d be silly not to.
I have the new party but still not the new experience ui so it’s pretty useless, I have contacted Roblox support and they said that features need time to roll out but in the dev forum they said it’s fully rolled out (and it was a few weeks before I send the email that they said it was fully rolled out) and now it’s been months, while my alt already has it and even has the blue ui. I don’t even have the camera controls I have nothing on my mail of new features exept party and voice chat. Can I have a answer for this or explanation since if been waiting very long.
Finally! One of my most favorite features is back, and better!
I have not used it yet, but I have a question.
Would I be able to see what my party members are doing?
Hey, just curious but are there any plans on what will happen to Guilded?
Considering these communication features do slightly hurt Guilded.
W update im looking forward to this feature!
Dawg an more easy way to communicate Finally
I had the same problem. I tried using an old group with under-13s and a new group with over-13s. Neither worked.
Very excited for when I figure it out though, lol.
I have been missing import features like the new experience controls etc, i do have the party but when will i get the rest
Probably 10, makes the most sense to me.
12 would be best, tbh. That number just resonates with me.
Thanks both for reporting and bringing this to our attention. These FPS issues should be resolved now–please let us know if you still run into this issue.
Are there any future plans to increase party’s max member amount?
6 is too less sometimes.
Also will we be able to use voice chat in party chat on the future?
We’re actively working on improving the overall party experience and this is definitely something we’re excited to bring to everyone in the future as well
Hi! I wanted to ask if you all were going to add proximity voice chat but you can only talk to your party member with proximity. I think this would be good so random people won’t listen to you talk if you want immersive proximity chat. And also will this be available on web or only the app?
Hi @ZareteWZ !
Privacy is at the top of our priority list. With that in mind, we’re building out party voice to be separate from in-game voice. This way, your discussions with your party remain within the party. This ensures that folks outside your party cannot eavesdrop on your conversations.
For initial launch, we’ll only have support for users in the app.
