Pasting a sound does not select it

1. Select a sound
2. Copy it
3. Go to some location
4. Ctrl+Shift+V (or Ctrl+V for workspace)
5. Your current selection will unselect, but the new sound will not select

Feels similar to Attempting to paste sound instance(s) into any instance will either not work or will paste it into the wrong location.
