Ping Freeze Issue

When I’m playing any Roblox game in the next 10-30 minutes in-game, my client will lag and everything in Performance Stats will freeze except GPU, CPU, and Mem stats. Here’s how does it looks like:

All the players that appear on my screen will also move in place even though they’re still moving normally in other player’s screen. My client also doesn’t disconnect until I waited a few minutes and then it gets disconnected with error code 266:

This affects to my hardwares (2 laptops) and here’s the model name of each laptops:

  • Laptop 1: ASUS Vivobook A416JA
  • Laptop 2: ASUS E410MA

I already find out the solutions to fix this issue on the internet but unfortunately, I didn’t find one about ping freeze and most of them are about high ping/ping spikes, useless, and overused.

I had no idea though why does this happens. I think this seems almost impossible to fix. Any answer to fix this issue?

the fact this is STILL happening is atrocious. it might be either roblox’s potato servers or my wifi is from 1970.

it still happens to me, are you using an ethernet cable?

It happens still today in the 15th of November 2024.
Crazy how I get disconnected with my very beautiful 5 bars of WI FI and how Roblox eats all my memory while just not working at all.
It disconnects me at least two times when I open Roblox, then I can’t use any feature in the “Home” and have to restart it.
Roblox should use the money they get from the overpriced Catalog items to buy something else than a potato and a cable for their servers.

No, I don’t use an Ethernet cable. Even though I’ve switched to a better ISP (Wi-Fi provider) and upgraded my router, the issue still occasionally persists.
