Alrighty so I have been stuck on this for a day, pretty sure it’s an engine bug.
I made a Place under my game through the asset manager, tried teleporting to that place and raised “attempted to teleport to a place that is restricted (773)”
Things I have tried to get around this:
- Creating the place from the website instead
- Deleting and recreating the place many times
- Enabling and disabling AllowThirdPartyTeleports
- Unprivating the place and trying on a completely new place instance
- Tried three different methods of TeleportService
After searching the Devforum for possible causes and solutions I found berezaa’s report on where this was happening large scale, not sure if this is the same case or I’m doin something blatantly wrong however I’m completely lost and at this point pretty sure it’s something on Roblox’s end.
