Not made by me: Deer Head, Wall lamps
I have a question. How did you even get this NPC to Roblox Studio? It wouldnât let you to do it because of the amount of the trianglesâŚ
-
Actually I really liked the build eventhough I think the ouylines make it look worse.
-
Eventhough the NPC is really well modelled it doesnât fit the map
-
Quality of the texture you used on the carpet doesnât feel right to meâŚ
-
It seems like you didnât really put effort on the chairs as you did on the bed.
So I give you 6/10
How long did it take you to make this? You said quick but the meaning of the quick can change.
For something âquickâ, this is looking decent. I like how it seems you have light coming in from the windows (as seen in the first picture), and how everything seems so composed and organized. It looks very detailed, buy my only critiques are that the mattress and table could have a bit more decoration, like a drape on the table, and a curved mattress! Regardless, itâs beautiful, and definitely something.
Overall: 9.5/10
Looks fine, I guess?
Please provide more info than just two pictures and zero text. This gives us very little to give meaningful feedback on.
Check out this thread if you need more info on how to get started:
The slate material used for the bed sheets, table cloth, chair, etc. looks ugly. The outlines donât look very nice either. The carpet texture is distorted. The left curtain seems to be missing part of itself:
Also, turn up Studioâs EditQualityLevel for better screenshots.
The thing about using free models â the deerâs head as well as the wall lights, so far as I can see â is that once someone sees them, they canât know how much of the build is also constituted by free models. I have no idea of knowing which parts of this build are actually yours and which parts arenât, and therefore it would be impossible for me to make an arbitrary âx/10â judgement.
A word of advice: donât ask for a quick âx/10â rating on how other people can improve their free models. Build something wholly yourself and then ask for constructive feedback.
Oh, and I realised after the fact that somebody might think Iâm making a baseless criticism, so here.
Overall the âQuick Buildâ makes this piece stand out to me, if you took time on it, I would expect better, but due to the fact it has been done in a short amount of time, it is quite good, could have experimented on the use of different materials more though, and the textures are somewhat of low quality, but great design and build overall. For me I would say 7/10, well done.
This build looks really good. The human sitting looks very realistic. Good work. 9/10
Very nice. Is the human built using mesh?
As @Hexlinee said, the quality of the texture looks a little out of place when itâs part of the beautiful build (very good job by the way ). Increasing itâs texture resolution would very much improve it. Speaking of the carpet, there is a noticeable misalignment with the texture:
And as @Lugical said:
I agree. I really like your build and Iâd give it 9.9/10.
My goodness, quick?!?!?!? I wonder what you could possibly do with more time. I mean this is great but one thing that confuses me is the NPC, how did you get that in there?
Overall rating of 8/10
Is uploading meshes in segments not a thing? Not being rude, just curious.
i am give you 10 stars the npc look amazing and i am like this room desgin good job on this game/show case
Build looks pretty nice, but by going off some of the replies on this thread and some of my personal opinion, Iâd give it a 7.5/10
-
There isnât really a lot of pictures on this thread based on the build.
-
Outlines didnât really suit out for me.
-
The carpets texture is cut throughout the middle
-
As @Lugical said. The chairs, tables and bed coverings/sheets could use curvature to add to the realism in this build, instead of using slate as a material.
-
Also, as @Somnar said, Using free models then asking to get a judgement (x/10) without knowing what you solely built can be really hard to make an accurate base judgement.
I understand if youâre unable to create an asset and resort to using a free model to fill that space out, but maybe credit the builders in the thread who created the free models so not only are you taking full credit to yourself, but we can also give a more accurate judgement.
Although, Iâll give you props for the NPC. It looks amazing!
Hey Eggatation,
I liked this building, itâs a 10/10 for me. So, now to that what you should fix:
- The tabletop is a bit âtoo largeâ consider making it smaller.
- This reindeer thingy is a bit too chunky.
- Add an entrance door (if itâs already there, please tell me where it is).
- Consider fixing this:
this,
and, this
This was all of my criteria.
9/10, things like the carpet could be improved as already said above, and try to use texturing on the ceiling.
Your build looks good, although some of the materials used seem off. The quality of the rug doesnât seem to be good and a part of the curtain on the left window (right curtain) seems to be missing. The NPC looks really good, although it doesnât fit in. Consider removing the outlines.
7/10
The build you have made looks really decent, like all the different details you added to it it really makes it stand out more. But for know the build looks pretty nice, here is a couple of things to fix on your build!!
- As said above can you take a little more pictures, and provide more info in your post. However i would suggest you fix the carpet, texture as by looking at it itâs a little cut through the middle as seen below:
- And the outlines on the chair, doesnât look quite nice i would suggest. You remove those and change the material on the table cloth, and sheets, to a different. Material to look more better in your build!! Also as @TypeByte said you should have credit the builder, for the models you used in your build so you wont take credit of them.
Overall you have done a great job, on your build keep up the good work the NPC. Looks amazing!
Itâs truly a beautiful build. Nice work keeping the color scheme consistent. Iâd say a solid 9/10. Keep up the good work!
Great build, especially the way that the NPC can be seen leaning back in the chair. That really makes the entire build stand out.
