[poll closed] Does materials affect weight on blocks

Ok first up I have no Idea where to put this but since it has to do with blocks I put it here.
This is real simple. Does materials (Metal, foil, diamond plate, etc.) affect the weight of the block. Yes or no. If so can you list the lightest to heaviest?

Each material has a set of physical properties. You can set custom properties using the CustomPhysicalProperties property of parts.

Yes they do. The wiki used to have a page showing all the materials and their densities. I can’t seem to find it.

You can check the densities yourself by inserting a part, changing the material to what you want, and checking the CustomPhysicalProperties property. The density value should change based on what material the part is. (if you are using the same part to check densities, you have to uncheck the CustomPhysicalProperties before setting a new material)

so that explains why my train doesn’t work when I change the material to metal.
