Possible critical bug with rescaling truss parts

So while i was working on my game i wanted to make a ladder, and so i just made a ladder model and put a truss part in workspace and when i tryed to rescale it, the entire rescale tool broke (it also didn’t rescale the truss part). I thought it was just a small bug and so i decided to switch to move and back to resize to maybe fix it but when i tried pressing the resize button it said “Plugin handle already exists”. So i had to completely close and re-open studio to make the resize thing work again. I don’t know if this can be considered a critical/very bad bug but here is a video of the bug anyway:

Also sorry if the quality is bad, i’m not sure how i can make it better.

It’s not critical, it’s a problem with the Lua draggers that were implemented. (Which, frankly, I dislike. I prefer the raw engine coded draggers honestly.)

The Truss size is too large.

It must be 1x in all directions except the one you want to drag. x1 y1 z100, for example.
Speaking of which, that functionality is bad, needs to be updated and refreshed.

I found a temporary solution
Use the plugin Studio Build Suite, and a panel will appear in the left corner of the screen. you can use “Resize Object” for a temporary solution.

The only way I found to work without a plugin, is just to manually change the size values themselves.

I happen to have this same issue too, it’s pretty annoying, to be honest.

Well, these solutions may help temporarily.

  1. Use F3X Building Tools
  2. Use Studio Build Suite
  3. Change the size inside the properties manually

I guess we have the same issue. I possibly made a mistake by making another forum post and write a paragraph of nothingness but just a repeat.

I’m thankful that the first solution seems to work momentarily. I’m expecting sone technician may fix this issue in an offficial manner.

I’ve experienced this problem as well. Doesn’t seem to be related to having plugins enabled and happened to me on team create.

You should update your Studio now. The bug has been officially been fixed.
