can we finally get this? i had to reupload 70 animations to a different group because permissions arent a damn thing

And then when you make a feature request for this people will say “this request has already been made, your request sucks” even though the request was made years ago. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if roblox just forgot about making public animations in the first place.
Please file it again, It’s been 5 years.

A simple checkbox is being delayed by a year.

They’re focusing on the roblox assistant, that nobody asked for and needs. Probably makes things even harder for new developers to learn proper coding skills because they’ll rely on AI to make the stuff for them.
I don’t get the use of pushing for AI, give us features that we actually need and want.

Bump. Not being able to allow animation access to games is really disrupting my workflow. Animation privacy should work like audio privacy where I can allow a game or user to use my animations. This would allow much more support for modules and packages.

Bumping this once again, seriously needs to be made a feature. It can be off by default, but simply being able to open source them would be great.

You can always link animations from your profile if you;
- Own The Game
- Upload It To A Group (Linked To The Game)
If this were to become a feature, it would need limitation such as not universally public, and work like private audios, where you can allow access if you have team-create to said game, otherwise exploiters may be able to use these for inappropriate animation usage, major visual blockage if paired with layered clothing, etc.
Also consider the fact if Roblox were to implement this there would be a lack of a level system, and most likely allow everyone to do it, with robux payment, and all updates are final, this wouldn’t be reversed if added.
