Random areas on our terrain map will appear much darker than the rest of the environment, as if that region is under an intense shadow or cloud. Has been occurring for months. Still unknown how much this has been impacting engagement.
These shaded regions do not correspond to actual shadows, lighting objects, or geometry and will appear even in fully open areas. Not sure how long it lasts but some fresh servers are affected too.
Seen on Mac OS & iOS. Persists across all graphics settings.
