Red Screen When Play is Clicked

From helping the OP with the initial issue and also all the research i did on google with similar issue… the common thread was High Sierra. I would venture this is the issue, maybe a compatibility or certain update that is glitching with studio. Do u have the option of updating your OS?

No, unfortunately. The only choice I could do is to upgrade OS 10.13

Roblox studio is trippy for me sometimes too. I have problems with the camera, but it turns out my other monitor broke roblox. I am just testing out a new monitor today. Maybe the same for you? Do you use a monitor?

Hadn’t seen this, sorry. Its not my monitor, studio outdated my mac even though its still fairly new (2010). There is nothing I can do but sit back and proudly accept my title of “Retired Roblox Developer”. I mostly do art now since studio broke. Anyways everything good.

Even with a slightly broken studio, I don’t retire. I still enjoy making games despite a broken program. Although, if you are content making clothing, have fun.

Im not retired from Roblox, just moved on a little. Ive been overloaded with other stuff and dont have time time to do intricate builds anymore.

I had a similiar Problem once, the only thing that is different is that its only in one game.
Probably had a virus or something.

Please do what this user says: Red Screen When Play is Clicked - #23 by VauItZone but you should not set it to automatic. Change it to metal, vulkan, opengl in that order, and restart studio each time you change it until you find one that works.

Thanks for sharing but next time before you do read the above thread since we narrowed that out right away.

Oh it worked! Thank you. I tried it on metal and I can see my screen again. Ty!!!

I suspect it’s a toolbox problem not a graphics problem, so simply when you press play quit the toolbox it’s something to do with the new update.
