yes.
Fantastic! This means I will have to use my Block Resize plugin much less now for when making detailed but small items. Thank you for this!!
itd be kinda cool to make a bacteria cell like this so it can be looked at under some sorta microscope
Will it also be possible that when you make unions with parts smaller than 0.05, that they retain their width, length or height? As now when you union a part with a height of 0.02 for example, it will automatically jump back to 0.05 (I guess thatās something to do with the hitbox retaining its 0.05 minimum value)
Convert the union to a meshpart and scale it down.
I have been building for six years now, so I do know how to scale something down. Thatās not the issue that I am describing here. I am talking about the possibility of when making a model, say a table, the dimensions stay as they are intended. If the platform is 4 by 4 by 0.025, it stays that way once unioning it with the legs, instead of changing to 4 by 4 by 0.05.
Yea this sounds like a bug, will look into how to fix.
Any progress on that? Would like to start building to scale instead of having to build larger than intended to scale it down.
This is going to help out a lot in making the smaller parts of the build thanks for making this update
This honestly could make paper more likeā¦ paper.
That is on par between a planet and a star.
No, a star would be much bigger in relation.
This is way cool! it actually has good uses, you can now shrink models to vary small sizes, and its great for coloring one side of a part without using decals!
No I think their statement was correct. I have nothing else to do and ratios interest me so read my mathmatical explanation if you wish.
Radius of the sun / Radius of the Earth = Size ratio
432,690 / 3,958.8 = 109.298272204
Rounded size ratio * Minimum part size = Corresponding ratio size of the sun
~109 * 0.001 = 0.109
Above is an attempted recreation of their screenshot but with my part sizes. Their part sizes were 0.001
and 0.05
and mine are posted above. Pretty close in my opinion.
Thanks for reading this waste of time reply, lol.
I never thought Iād truly see how small the Earth was in relation to the sun until you made this.
0.001 is quite small but I like this change. With the old limits the sun would be ~5 studs big and 0.05 for Earth.
Well, about twice as big. So I guess my original statement isnāt completely correct as you sort of explained. And, some stars are smaller than the sunā¦
