Aside from memes, I’m loving the Studio dragger override change. Does this mean when I’m using build tools that generate UI in the Studio window (such as F3X), then those tools will stop entirely dissappearing when I take certain actions? For example, trying to use the built-in Terrain Editor tends to make such UI dissappear into the void. The plugin is still running and certain hotkeys will still act on Studio selections, but otherwise the plugin is defunct until I go to the Plugin toolbar and click on the plugin’s button twice to re-“summon” the UI.

Yippee!!! Now, I can finally use voxel without having to worry about the slow process speed! (well, temporarily)
Jokes asides, we should rewrite the whole voxel system so it isn’t laggy. It might use some outdated technology that prevents it from getting a good processing speed.

I would love to know what this means:

Will “Gestures” let VR players animate their hands and face?

That would be amazing, and would make sense, since Users and already animate their faces with their Webcam. Plus adding that to VR would actually be more precise!

As for the Hands, there would need to be countermeasures to prevent Users from hold up a CERTAIN finger. (lol)

But with the things that already happen with JUST the Face Captures, I am not entirely sure that Hand Tracking would 100% be the “best” thing… :no_mouth:

But anyways, both features would be an interesting addition to the engine! :slightly_smiling_face:

Honestly, from what I’ve heard, voxel lighting is just slow and outdated in general. I could be very wrong though.

All I know is that voxel lighting gets exponentially harder to compute the bigger it is. There’s probably niche cases for it still though

Adds AudioPlayer.Ended and AudioPlayer.Looped events.

While I like that the audio API is getting parity with the existing sound system, we’re still missing a Tremolo effect and rolloff.

Im probably gonna guess this is most likely going to be for dynamic heads and face controls. Would be really epic.

was kind of confusing for me but It was talking about DragDetectors.

I haven’t used DragDetectors but I am going to say that if it isn’t draggable the DragEvents will not be fired.

Really happy about this


Still a tad annoying that particles that would otherwise appear on screen won’t be emitted just because the origin is outside the screen, but this is a huge improvement.
