Yes. I’m asking because meshpart editors exists for 30 years but not in Roblox Studio. What is problem? Its possible to edit meshpart even in notepad. But Roblox has big problem as I see. I can forgive that. But honestly 5 parts??? Where are we 1970? Don’t tell me it would cost billions because it wouldn’t. It’s most simplest part of every engine. In the fact i see they not even care. For me now it turned into philosophical aspect. They don’t see lack of this or? It’s not shame for corporation with so big capital?

Improves table.maxn method to be 5-14x times faster than before. Does not affect table.getn

It’s possible in the same way that you can program an entire game in assembly. You can do it, but hardly anyone does it because there are so many better ways to do it.

Hardly anyone would use a 3d editor built by Roblox because there are companies that have had many more years to refine their UI and UX that Roblox simply can’t catch up to. Besides, it’s like one more step to import 3d models from Blender or Maya into Roblox.

Who tells about race with other engines? All we need is just simple mesh creator like adding dots and moving them. It would be much simpler to just resize any grid if it is wrong size.

EditableMesh is fairly recent, calm down man. The history of Roblox was always just parts, meshes, and then CSG stuff, and then being able to upload meshes, and then having better CSG stuff. There’s a twitter thread from one of the engineers who worked on it about the complications of adding live editing to meshes with regard to rendering/physics/moderation/etc – if that’s what they’ve been working on for a few years, then it’d be reasonable to take a break from it or work on something else haha

I hope this doesn’t mean you can’t backspace services, I do this on accident a lot, and it would be pretty annoying to have to undo every-time, even if it does I hope it’s toggle-able.

Why do you hate Blender so much though? Custom meshes exist with the Editable class, so I’d say go make yourself a plugin. Roblox doesn’t need its own mesh editor

I accidentally hid CoreGui and now I can’t show it again even after opening this menu, and messing with studio settings :frowning:

Not sure exactly what you mean but this is the service visibility toggle which you have to invoke by explicitly right clicking the service and selecting “hide” / “show services”.

Well I heard within a post that it was something that was disabled and was going to be enabled again, and the premise was backspacing on a service which is the same as deleting.

e.g. pressing backspace on a service like a part which would make it go away.
