TL;DR: Sound.PlayOnRemove
is an awesome API which never causes problems for anyone.
Long answer: The plugin makes a copy of your selection to display it in a Viewport. It strips out any scripts and what not and only included certain Instance types. However when changing selections the under some circumstances the PlayOnRemove
of a sound would get triggered.
Does this fix the issue of the non-antialiased circle hole that appears at a certain distance on long shadows?

This issue has genuinely bothered me for years, being a huge immersion breaker for games with verticality and day & night cycles. It ruins sunsets and large mountains. Aside from that though, I’m pretty glad there’s going to be a color grading instance.
It’s crazy that it took this long for this bug to get fixed. I think I had personally reported this bug like 3 years ago then some other people had reported it long before me. Regardless glad to see it actually works now.
Added a color grading post-effect instance type to the engine.
Any chance this is going to be similar to Unreal Engine’s post process volumes or am I being too hopeful?
It’s simply a post processing effect that tweaks colors, similar to the Color Correction effect but with more options beyond basic saturation and tints. This isn’t a system that allows you to change post processing effects in a specific region.

Fixes disappearing light chunks and shadow updates.
This could mean many things, one of which being the tendency for shadow chunks to disappear while you’re still staring at them and moving a few studs vertically up into the trees.
Someone, or some team, has put bulletpoints in their Notes. These two Notes are also both rendering-related. Maybe the same person wrote them?
I wonder what the Color Grading effect will give us. I first thought of Color Quantization (banding, toon shading), but I think it’s something else.
