It’s been 7 months since a turbofish-like RFC was merged. There’s been no implementation of it, as far as I know.
The syntax is Function<<Type>>(Parameter) and it works on the expression level, so local Value = Function<<Type>> is actually valid.

I don’t know for certain if this update is tied to ROBLOX Studio’s new dark mode.
But please, for the love of UX, could you guys fix the UI outlines. It’s harder to use ROBLOX studio at 4k when I can’t tell if it’s a field or a message.
What’s your strategy for opening the lid though?
Can we please get an update on Server Authority? The last roadmap says it should be available in studio this summer but there has been zero news about it and barely anyone heard back from early access
They should REALLY invite more people. Perhaps even set a place visits requirement, like 50 million or something.
(Yes, I’m saying this because they’ve never invited me. Not in 2022, not in 2023, not last year, and not this year.)
They’re not directly tied to this release but we did just roll out the dark colors about an hour ago.
I did ask if MeshOfPaul has the old colors via message.
I’ve got sight issues and alongside the general contrast issues with elements, this is causing me eye strain related headache, and difficulty differentiating contexts, when just using the script editor. These weren’t problems with the old colors.
Will the old dark mode theme be added to the dropdown, i.e. as a “Classic Dark”, or the new one added as a separate “Twighlight” mode? It’d really help.
This is awesome I really like the dark mode texture. It looks astounding to me.
