Resetting too fast causes black transparent screen from new ESC Menu to stay on screen

When I attempted to reset using just Keybinds: Esc + R + Enter; The black screen that is in the NEW ESC menu stays on screen. The repro rate for this is 100%.

Repro steps: (make sure you are doing it fast)

  1. Press Esc
  2. Press R
  3. Press Enter

Expected behavior

The black frame in the background should be cleaning up appropriately.

I have attached a video of this bug happening.
