Hello, I received a message in my inbox from Roblox’s account demanding to delete a person’s data within my game under a right-of-erasure-request, providing the user id and game, however my game doesn’t have any datastores or references to the user mentioned and I am concerned about what will happen given that I have no idea what they are speaking of. I’ve check every line of code and temporarily made my game private, but I don’t think it will suffice.

I’m not a developer or anything, and I randomly had this message pop up in my inbox today over a user that played a game of mine that I haven’t even touched since 2020, already deleted the player data, but in the same message it asks me to delete the specific user id from all my records, is there like other ways I’m not aware of to delete player user ids? prob wrong section post but w/e

I rarely check my messages in general but I checked just now and noticed two completely identical messages from almost a month ago which stated that I had to “delete a User ID immediately from all of my records” in a specific game that I own. [image] The game in question was made over 3 years ago and hasn’t been updated since then. The only thing in the game that could possibly be storing data is a gamepass script but there’s no log in my group of anyone other than myself ever buying the game…

I believe you actually violate privacy laws if you don’t do anything. However, if you don’t store anything then it should be fine
