Rigid constraints only working 1 way

  • the part on the right has a RigidConstraint

  • Part0 is a bone inside the bow (a skinned mesh)

  • Part1 is an attachment which is also inside the part

when i move the part it moves the whole mesh, not just the bone, but when i move the bone it moves just the bone and the part.

i want it so when i move the part it moves just the bone not the whole mesh. is this a glitch or am i doing something wrong?

this will be used to connect / rig the bow to a players character. that way i’d only have to animate the players arms and the bow will move with their arms and still have correct deformation instead of staying static
