Roblox android volume bug

when you turn down your volume, it goes to the in-call volume instead. And if I were playing Roblox and using Bluetooth at the same time, the audio on the Bluetooth degrade.

I think I have this bug around when voice chat was implemented on Roblox. or I have the voice chat feature on my account.

After further testing, this bug only occurs when the game ahem experience have a voice chat feature.

Expected behavior

Using Bluetooth while playing Roblox should not degrade the audio (like having a phone call). And turning down the volume should be on the media channel.

What phone model are you using? I’m using an android with voice chat and Bluetooth enabled, but this has never happened for me. The model I have is moto g stylus 2022.

It’s probably the way android handles Roblox voice chat. Try joining a game that doesn’t have voice chat and see what happens

i said that clearly on the bug report:

to my knowledge, bug occur in every android device.
Im using samsung a15 on android 14.

Your knowledge just changed then. It doesn’t occur on my android deivce. I use voice chat, and I don’t experience this when playing voice chat games.

It occurs on both of my phones, one is a midranger, the other is a budget phone.
I talked to a bunch of people about this bug and quite a lot of them experienced this.

I’m curious, roblox does not make 2 audio channels on your device ?

The call volume slider is the one changing when using volume buttons, and the audio is mildly to heavily degraded depending on the device.

Same thing happens with my Galaxy A10s, the system thinks they are an call ap instead of an videogame

Android thinks you’re in a call so it only turns down the volume of your earpiece speaker (located at the top of your phone just like a telephone), try turning down the volume from the control center

i know, but going the volume center is annoying, especially when youre in a game.

Roblox’s outputs in a different audio channel, not from the earpiece, its from the phone’s speaker.

I was thinking why roblox does this sometimes, like its just an simple error yet, no one dare to fix this bug.

Not only that , if you use another app and don’t close Roblox and keep him active , it also affect the audio of the device
