Why fix something that is so amazing
I haven’t found a solution to this myself as my rig would just be all jangled up and wouldn’t even stand without raising it’s arms and sliding all over
I havent tried rigging with bones yet but I believe you just need to rotate the joint attachment or whatever they use at the top of the legs 90° and you’ll get a better result.
I haven’t been able to fix my similar issue with the custom mesh rig, I tried rotating my joints in blender then applying those rotations, despite that the bones on mine were still wonky. What I ended up doing was just using a skeleton from a mixamo roblox rig which fixed the joint orientations but didn’t fix my other issues (my rig slides all over the place and it won’t let me edit hip height) Hope this helps. I can give you the skeleton I used if you’d like
Actually, took some time to learn some commands on blender and I figure out how to rotate the bone positions/oritenation
