The logo stands for “developer”, not necessarily only for Studio. Studio uses the icon because it is development software for Roblox.

This looks very professional.
It clearly relates to Roblox Studio but is something new.
I would be fully on board to use this logo instead of the current one.

At the same time, some logos made by users here are super awesome.
I’ll probably use stylish to mod those in.

but some slight changes could definitely be made to this new logo to make it look a bit more appealing.

Why not at least change the font to something that would fit the brand more?

I mean, even google has a custom icon for the developer side of things, the Play Store dev icon is completely different from the normal dev console icon as well.
Having different icons for separate branches is common in major companies. With Google’s Play store, and everything relating to it, they have varying version of the Play Button/Icon. It helps distinguish it at first glance…

I see what you mean, but in my opinion, it’s actually a smart move to use the studio icon for the developer forum. However, they should add some custom text, either made out of some flat design icons which represent the creative community on Roblox, or at least something that fits the Roblox branding a bit more.
Something like this letter A is what I mean:

The forum makes use of “dynamic favicon” which has the new icon, but the HTML is cached/pre-generated serverside with the (old) static favicon. Seems like the browser (usually?) picks the first icon tag it finds, which is the pregenerated one.
no idea when that static HTML stuff is refreshed though

I disagree, change is welcome, but the blue logo is so heavily associated with Studio it just isn’t a favorable change.
