Alright, I’m not sure if it has to do with me being on the latest Windows 10 build (14393.5), or if something else is going on, but I can’t download ROBLOX via the Windows Store on my Windows 10 Mobile phone. I don’t know how much more I can provide, and I know Windows 10 Mobile is such a small minority it may not be worth the effort … however, I’d like to be able to test my applications on every device I possibly can.
I thought the Windows 10 apps were still in beta.
Edit: Since when did the app get officially released on Windows 10? I can download it perfectly fine on my Windows 10 laptop running the latest official release. Unfortunately I no longer have a working Lumia phone so I can’t test it on there. Is the app just not downloading for you, or is it not showing up in the store? Do you have any issues downloading other apps?
I am pretty sure its because windows phones have a small share of the market, but since they’re working on the windows 10 app anyway, it’ll probably be available soon.
I checked it out on my Lumia 950. Game is not available for download however I do see there are Mobile screenshots in the gallery. I think they’re still testing it.
That was sorta my point. When I go onto the PC Store, it clearly shows Mobile/PC images, and I know there’s a way to have it show it supports Mobile. Yet, when I use the Mobile store, no mas. I’m curious as to if this is a bug in Windows 10, or something ROBLOX intentionally has done.
SIDE NOTE (PM RESPONSE): Do you recommend the Lumia 950 XL? I’m using a BLU WinHD LTE, and wouldn’t mind making Windows 10 Mobile my primary driver with the apps it has now.
Windows store developers can have various reasons to make their app not (yet) available on specific platforms such as Mobile. Even though Windows 10 apps are universal, the UI usually needs some platform-specific work to be done. There might also be technical obstacles that prevent ROBLOX from launching on W10M.
