Unfortunately, we do not support the very early Windows 10 builds. Please upgrade to at least LTSB 1607.
I’ve already tried upgrading to LTSB 2016 (1607) and newer versions of windows 10 but I keep getting a blue screen error every 5-15 minutes, you can see my other posts of what I tried earlier.
I’m terribly sorry, but there is really nothing we can do if your machine can’t be upgraded to a newer version.
There is nothing that your team can do about it? Like adding support for LTSB 2015 only and install a specific security patch like Windows 7 because I’m trying to avoid downgrading to windows 7 because it’s out of support.
Unfortunately, we can’t add support for LTSB 2015 as this would open a can of worms for us.
I also have this bug. Sometimes the game will load and crash after few seconds, the other time it will just straight crash when joining.
I can confirm this issue. One of my computers is getting the same error

Thanks, I’m fine with closing WireShark when playing Roblox, I just wanted to know if the crashing was intentional or not
I was experiencing this issue, there seems to be some kind of a bug on windows that fails to clear AppData/Local/Temp properly therefore any suspicious task at all that uses that form of a Temp directory effectively bricks Roblox until it is cleared. I confirmed that it is not working as intended after restarting my PC about 5 times each time Roblox didn’t work. Upon clearing that directory, first try and I was in-game.
Hello, highly appreciate the transparency you’ve provided here in the past. However, I’m curious what’s the reasoning for blocking Wireshark here? I’m not sure I understand how viewing the raw data of your network activity is inherently insecure, or related to cheating. Roblox’s traffic should already be encrypted, no?
It’s also worth noting, that many capabilities that Wireshark would really provide for Roblox, such as network inspection, are already provided natively, through debug FFlags, so I’m really not sure I’m tracking this whole cheating reason.
While I’m here, I may as well also ask, can we expect to get more consistent and user-friendly error messages? Right now, it usually will just crash with the standard message. Sometimes, there are a few messages, which while more detailed, would be better if they had more details (such as, what Windows version is considered supported), as well as a tray notification for Procmon.
In many cases, a user using some unsigned Windows Aero mod DLL or whatever else probably isn’t automatically trying to cheat. But, just making the player instantly crash is not a great UX to show for a fairly possible false flag IMHO. This just confuses the user into thinking Roblox or the computer is broken. If you crash for this reason right after opening the client, why can’t it actually say something like, “X is prohibited on Roblox. Please close and/or uninstall this application, then restart Roblox.”? The same goes for drivers, test mode, or whatever else that is common.
I have somewhat commonly, especially at the initial full release, seen users confused by the crashing behavior, seeing this be the same way bothers me a bit.

ive been reading through this over the past few days and im now realizing this is probably where i should be posting
both the web client and uwp crash with no errors on launch. previously, this was just the web client but itt has since spread to the uwp (which reinforces my suspicion this is a hyperion issue as hyperion has only just been added to the uwp)

This is odd, have you verified that there are no active Roblox instances? Or rebooting and trying again?
Try quitting out as many non-critical applications as possible and trying again, as programs like Core Temps could cause issues with Hyperion or any anti-cheat/anti-tamper solutions.
ive tried clean boots with non critical processes (ie afterburner and discord, etc), checking for background processes, countless reinstalls, nothing has worked
