Roblox having strange lagging issues when hovering over settings

i’ve been trying to play roblox as of late but i’ve been having strange issues with games getting laggier and laggier, culminating in having the very act of hovering over my settings cause major spikes in performance

normally it would just. not do this?? i don’t know how this is causing performance issues and it’s frustrating
