Roblox launches as a subprocess of the browser that it opens in

When opening Roblox from the web via URL protocol, the client gets shown on screen as a pure white widget and becomes a subprocess of the browser that you opened it from. The client will then hoard all the device’s resources before crashing or manually ending the task from task manager.

11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-11370H @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz
16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

OS: Windows 11 Home Version 23H2

This is happening even after a 100% clean install of windows and clearing the drive. This is an application issue. This is affecting a lot of players and developers. This has been happening for months without improvement.

Expected behavior

Roblox starts as normal. Opening from the browser puts me in game.
