Roblox not working at all on windows

Roblox won’t start from the browser, the application won’t even reopen. I even tried deleting the %appdata% for Roblox and reinstalling and it’s still not opening.

It also won’t start from Microsoft Store, it opens and closes in a second or two.

What is your pc specs and windows version? Also are you using any beta software?

Have you tried restarting your pc? Also does it say anything when you can’t open studio, maybe like a error message?

I restarted my pc over 30 times, it’s been happening for 10 days. Studio deleted itself for some reason, but I was able to open it yesterday and it worked just fine.

I am talking about Roblox itself, not the studio. This isn’t only happening to me, 2 of my other friends have the same issue, and it started on the same day.

Nope. Just started happening since I opened my computer that morning.

Either it is a bug, or maybe some external (maybe even internal) software is messing up studio.

There is nothing about studio here. Its normal roblox. All my friends that play roblox on computers have this issue.

When you start it up does anything happen like does Roblox appear in Task Manager or does a window/error pop up.

No error, and roblox for a few seconds appears in the task manager while that loading bar slides and then disapears.

I think this is a bug, maybe just wait while Roblox fixes this.

Unfortunately, the Store version has limited error diagnostics available, so it would be more helpful to concentrate on the Desktop version. Do you have any crash dump or log files that you could share with us?

Well, that is one way to get my attention, but in this case, it appears that the Microsoft Store version is also not functioning.

Interesting, I thought it would have been Byfron because when I searched up this issue in the devforum I found a lot of similar issues saying it happened after the byfron update, I guess I shouldn’t assume stuff lol

Regardless of the cause, submitting a full crash dump is always the fastest way to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, retrieving a crash dump for Microsoft Store applications is not as straightforward as it is for regular desktop applications.

Are the logs supposed to be placed inside “C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\Roblox\logs”? If so, there is no logs folder there, only Versions and Downloads.

Edit: After adding “* roblox.com *” to the whitelist in pihole fixed the Microsoft Store version, but the website version is still broken.

You should DM logs and stuff to admins sometimes they may contain private information.

In this case there is no private information inside so I don’t DM anything.
