Roblox Server Fill

When I put the server fill setting of my game to ‘Fill each server as full as possible’, I get a notification that I lose on gameplay time and Robux earned.

Does Roblox take a larger percentage (more then 30%) on earned Robux when I set the server fill setting on Fill each server as full as possible?

Quoted from the update post:

Fill each server as full as possible : All game servers will fill up to the Maximum Player Count if possible and leave no room for others to join. Choosing this option may cause you to lose out on the benefits of enabling your players to play with friends.

So no, they don’t take a bigger cut. However, if people want to play with their friends, they may server hop until they find an empty one. And also, they might not purchase things for whatever reason (?). Looks like it’s just a player experience problem, not a problem with Roblox taking cuts.

I definitively want to see this information being changed, it feels so wrong that this option is there, in red, claiming that it “WILL CAUSE YOU LOSS” as confusing as to say it’s even :robux_gold: related.

Should of used a common follow-friend case, such as a potential social disadvantage instead of directly assuming it leads to huge loss.

It is quite strange, but it could be a way to deter filling servers completely, which could possibly put a greater strain on them. There may be a real reason behind it, but by the post that they provided when they updated it, it’s not blatantly obvious.

Bumping to ask a question.

Will it cause any issues if I TeleportAsync a party? Specifically I am making a Matchmaking hub within my game, which will have Fill Server mode with a max server count of 8. Will Roblox handle the party by making a separate server for the party if there are not enough slots in any? My game has not released yet and it is hard to test and see if I were to do this, if it would cause any issues with the party (Which will obviously be a maximum of 8 people / party)
