In August 2018, multiple DevForum members complained about having Roblox Studio crashing over and over again. Some have claimed that the problem was fixed but I’ve continued to have the same problem since then.
Every now and then reinstalling seems to fix the problem but this isn’t an ideal solution. Before this problem begins, I’m typically just working on a place and occasionally it’s just an empty baseplate with just 1 script. I work for a bit then quick-switch to another program. When I come back to Roblox Studio, it doesn’t open up. The window is gone. When I right click on the Studio icon in the dock, I see that Studio is no longer responding and so I attempt to force quit it. Sometimes it hangs before it goes away but it almost always does quit. I then attempt to open another instance of Roblox Studio but I almost never see a Roblox Studio window pop up. It immediately becomes non-responsive before the window even shows. Even if a window shows up, it still returns back to its non-responsive state. I’ve managed to collect these logs from the last time it happened (see bottom of post).
I am currently running macOS Mojave 10.14.2 (18C54) on a Mac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017). I have a 5120 x 2880 monitor and 8 GB of RAM but I don’t think this should affect anything.

In one instance where Studio crashed while I was working, the wpad/wpdat.dat warning didn’t show. The last entry in logs there was my own print statement into the command bar.
