I can confirm that this is happening for me as well. After a reinstallation however, this appears to be an issue on Roblox’s end: “Failed to load settings with 502. Please restart Studio or contact support if the problem persists.”
For those uninformed, “502” refers to HTTP Code 502, meaning “Bad Gateway.” So this is on Roblox’s end and we’ll have to wait for the engineers to fix it.
I’m getting the same 502 bad gateway error consistently on the groups page and semi-consistently on the home page, tested across two devices on the same network + confirmation from one other person. Can anyone confirm this?
How are these wide-spread outages a common occurrence for roblox? I figured that after the “trauma” that the October 2021 outage provided for developers (and players alike) roblox would begin to prioritize fixing these outages.
Why can’t Roblox just have things working normally if they make changes then at least test them and over and over again until the bugs are gone…I feel like they’re so impulsive with updates that it just breaks everything☹️
