Roblox Studio on the iPad Pro

there are laptops, even smaller than an ipad that you could use, right?

This would definitely help the quality of life for roblox devs, still being able to work on the go. Gives us more freedom for vacations and short trips, although the ipad version would be very limited.

Cue the phone exploding due to the massive requirements studio needs to run.

I mean, it would be very laggy and eat up your battery. Also, as someone else mentioned, the screen is too small

Personally, I would just use a laptop and a mouse (trackpads are so hard to use.) Even if there was a Roblox Studio on mobile, it would probably be a glitched out, laggy mess. Another thing to note is that a keyboard and mouse (or trackpad) have many different keys and options (like left click and right click) that a touch screen simply does not have.
While yes having Roblox Studio on mobile would be great, just use a laptop. Even a low end one might do.

have you thought of using parsec for ultra low latency connection ?? Making a remote desktop software is probably the worst thing roblox could invest in lol. the difference between macos and ios is that they use completely different implementations of code, which means roblox would be rebuilding studio from the ground up which is not something theyā€™ve shown interest in.

I use Mac and thereā€™s no problem

i donā€™t know what you mean since it makes absolutely no sense in context.

You said that MacOS to have Roblox Studio @Roblox needs to rewrite everything, but I use it and thereā€™s no problem, and you also said internet connection, which isnā€™t a problem

As a person who always uses an IPad Pro, this would be benefitial for me! Since many people are using IPads. This can make people have more access to Roblox Studio and maybe attract more players on becoming Developers!

But the cons of this is that how will this work and if this is a feature, Most people will struggle on the mobile mechanics.

So maybe youā€™ll need to stick around by using PCs for now.

This could be solved by using a keyboard that is attached to the iPad

Yes but it would be more different when it comes to putting mouse controls on mobile

Well, mouse controls wouldnā€™t be actually a problem, as you can have some kind of keybind/touchbind (is it even a word?)

Maybe but like you might accidentally press a bind that your not meanā€™t to press

In that case do Ctrl+Z

on the keyboard, problem = solution

Heres the thing tho, they keyboard will be very small since there are a lot more keys on an average keyboard than the typeboard on mobile (This includes Alt, Ctrl, Tab, Esc, etc.)

I donā€™t mean the classic iPad keyboard, but I mean, having a keyboard extension, I know they exist

I dont think Roblox supports mobile with keyboard extensions

It doesnā€™t? Thought soā€¦

Would be great if it did

This does sound interesting considering that the current lineup of iPads have the same chips as the Mac lineup so it could be possible, although this does vary from device to device that donā€™t have the Apple Silicon chip which can have many problems and different results.

my guy, you are taking pieces of what iā€™ve written and making up your own statement.

iOS and iPadOS use swift, which is not even remotely what MacOS uses. MacOS uses Objective-C and other, different languages which interpet OC code. Though, apple is making efforts to have their mobile OS apps work on desktop, but not vice versa. For it to be on the iPad Pro, roblox would need to make a whole new studio client.

as for internet connection, it legitimately is an issue because, unless youā€™re making local changes to a file, itā€™s absolutely useless. I donā€™t know if you have noticed, but most of the things roblox uses connects to a remote server.
