I feel bad for Europeans, I live in Canada and it’s still $500+ for a round trip:
Would be a $1000+ trip for me, if I get invited.

This year’s RDC is setting up to be better then ever! The hotel looks like a Mansion plus with the new activities planned for this event I can tell developer’s are going to appreciate the time there.
Also I hope for new members *myself included" to get a chance to be invited.

I much preferred the Hyatt venue, compared to the Maccus venue, as I actually got the chance to stay at both hotels during RDC 2019. It seemed a little small, food in the hotel cost a fortune and had no pool 
But the Maccus venue is located next to lots of shops and tourist attractions which is a big plus.

I reside in the US and can’t make it due to college costs. On the bright side, hyped for RDC 2021 lol
RDC 2020, sounds good.
I was expecting an EU event as it would be much less expensive for a flight, so I may as well tune into the live stream instead.
Is there any way you guys can get a venue for people in the EU also?

28 hour flight, well over $1500 return 
If I stayed for like a fortnight it might be worth it, but not just a weekend.

I saw the hotel on the discord server.It looks pretty nice I’d love to be there.But sadly I have other plans for the time RDC is happening so I cant apply.
I am very excited for the features that will be announced and all thoose amazing studio tips.Im totally going to watch the live stream. #RDC20

Flights aren’t cheap chief, peak time I guess! Asides it’s a lot of money and Roblox should rethink their actions while they gave time else us Europeans won’t be very happy.

I know they were just predictions, but saying that you want to see it happen, and then working against it seems kind of ridiculous to me 
Having attended the RDC EU viewing party last year I am very disappointed that there isn’t even at least another one of those for the EU developers this year, yet alone a full conference. The viewing party may not have been the full package but it was still a great experience and something which brought many EU developers together.
San Francisco on the otherhand is extremely far away and some younger developers can’t afford to travel all the way there, or have parents that are willing to go with them and also cover the costs. Older developers who can go by themselves also don’t have it easy, and going to a new place far away from home can sometimes be nerve wracking.
I hope an EU version of RDC is reconsidered.
