Save the Date: RDC 2020!

I’m thinking not as a second location but as the main one. There could be a rotation between West and East each year. This would allow different people to be able to attend the event. Even for europeans, it would be a bit closer to go to New York, for example, than to go to San Francisco.

Though, I understand why Roblox would keep the event in their native state. It is much easier to do it in a location close to their Headquarter.

I mean I’m in london and a flight to San Francisco is like £200, not too costly especially for us developers

I combined the Free Roblox Shirt with the RDC 2020 logo

At RDC London I was the winner of the raffle grand prize which included a free flight, ticket and hotel to RDC 2020, they took my name down on a laptop. How do I go about arranging this, do they contact me or who do I ask? I still have the giant winner ticket they gave me.

I think that they’ll contact you once they start sending invites. If not then I guess you could try to get in touch with any of the Dev Relations staff.

Is there a site that I can start buying tickets for RDC?

They will send you an invite with a link if you are eligible to go

What are the qualifications to get invited?

So far that I understand, the influencers get their invites first, and then the rest of the devforum. Then the last tickets gets sold outside the devforum to people that apply for one.

For me personally, I been in the invite waves twice, and I am not one of the biggest developers on the platform (Yet :stuck_out_tongue:), so I don’t think you should worry.

Alright thanks, as I stated earlier this event will be hosted like 10 minutes outside of where I live, and I just hopefully want to get a quick peak and meet some people around the platform

Any information on an event being held in the EU?

@EnDarke it is cheaper to fly for some east coast people. Gas is expensive.

A few questions that I have, it would be great if some of you annual attendees could answer these!

-Are we required to stay in the hotel at the RDC event? And if so, are we allowed to have others stay in those rooms with us? (My sister’s a huge fan of California, and when I attend in a couple years once I have a more stable income, I plan on inviting her to California with me so she can enjoy the city while I’m at the event, and we can hang out when I’m not there.)

-^If the rooms are made for one person, could she get a separate room? If she makes a separate application to attend?

I might add more questions as I come up with them. Sorry that I don’t know all this information, just some must-knows!

No you’re not.

I am not sure if you could get 2 separate rooms. Maybe one with 2 beds in it since they offered those in the previous years.

No RDC in EU? Oh well.

Also that’s nice that you guys are switching to a new venue, I’d love to go again but unfortunately a lot is happening as well in July.

You got high chances to meet people then :eyes:

I finally have the money to go this year. Can’t wait!
