According to the wikia of Roblox, RDC aka Roblox Developer(s) Conference was made in 2015, March 4, 2015 - March 8, 2015. There was 3 conferences in different areas, West, East in USA (United States of America) and in Europe,
“RDC West was held, the second conference called RDC East was held in the U.S.A on March 7, 2015, and the final conference called RDC Europe was held on March 8, 2015”
The country that started this event was in USA but who started is the event organizers which I believe was the Roblox staffs and David Baszucki
Minors under 13 can’t attend. There is a contract as well as other release forms that the attendee or the guardian of the attendee need to sign. Besides, what having someone under 13 in a mixed group of adults and teenagers who are strangers to them isn’t a smart thing to do since guardians aren’t really allowed onto the parts where the conference is unless it’s a designated area for them.
Some one already Answered your question but here’s my opinion.
I don’t think kids under 13 should be able to attend because 1 they probably are not a super dedicated developer and 2 they most likely would get Bored super fast. There is more reasons why they shouldn’t attend.
There will be more information on that later on when they can share more with us. They usually start applications after the 2nd or 3rd wave of invites.
I dunno, if it’s virtual, I’d hope you’d do away with the invite only part or invite everyone in the DevForum. lol. I don’t know how that would work but please consider making virtual RDC for everyone who wants to attend.
Wohoo! Sounds super exciting and they reconsidered if it should be both options, but virtually will probably be safer in most scenarios. Look like amazing stuff to me can’t wait!
It would be cool if everyone who is a member of the Deform can be invited in the virtual world. It could work like the main group (VIPs) (Invite - invite only) will be in one server with the Roblox admins and everyone else will be in different servers.
