There are words that are filtered differently for <13 and 13+ users. This could’ve been one of those cases otherwise, so there’s probably another reason.
Any fields like profile bios or game/group descriptions are filtered at the time they are set, they don’t get filtered dynamically on the fly for each user viewing the group/game/profile.

Those fields use the maximum filtering possible since everyone can view them. Since Discord is filtered dynamically, mentions of it could probably be allowed in experience chat for 13+ users.
Bypassing, saying dizzy, dc, etc

Well they ban people for this because of 4 reasons mainly.
1: you’re bypassing to say something they already don’t want you to.
2: as stated in the Roblox terms of service community standards: sharing or giving PPI (personal private information) such as giving of asking for Internet Identifiers such as usernames and handles not linked to Roblox is also considered PPI this includes discord.
3: there’s very questionable people on discord yet Roblox continues to let developers link their games and groups to discord servers.
4: directing users off platform including any social excluding guilded since they own it.
Discord is known for having people who should not be interacting with minors on their platform. Discord also only allows users who are 13+ to use their platform. So, to protect the safety of it’s users, they restrict anything that has to do with discord.
If I am not mistaken, I think those links are only visible to users 13+. But you are not wrong when you say, “you can’t just lie about your age and put a random birthday”.

Yeah it’s just confusing that they let us link discord servers to our games and groups on Roblox. So if Roblox is really putting an effort into protecting the children on Roblox they wouldn’t let us link anything to discord because condo games link servers on their games and groups sometimes I believe and when you sign up for discord it’s not like you can’t just lie about your age and put a random birthday. I have nothing against discord personally but for younger users it’s a problem.
I dont think they take action against you for saying discord because of what happens on discord, they probably do it as many different countries have different laws, and regulationsm and all that sorta thing that they simply cant handle in realtime to know if you can mention whatever website.
This applies to all social medias, and probably other websites and such. So I dont think its cause of discord specifically
but yeah just my thoughts

They do take action on you for saying discord or trying to bypass the filter and say discord because my friend was banned for saying discord and another friend of mine also put their discord user in their bio and also got banned for “asking & sharing PPI”
Well my original point still stands.
In this case, this is due to robloxs moderation and how it doesnt understand context and what not, thus it thinks that sharing your discord username is personal information. Why? Beats me lol.

Yeah Roblox’s moderation doesn’t understand context at all hence why my account is terminated (I’m working to get it back at the moment) but it’s social media if it’s sensitive information why do you have it and give it to people.
Some kids can easily manipulated into sharing sensitive information, which is most likely the main reason for this rule.

Allegedly, you’ll be able to link Discord directly to your profile soon (which is odd, I guess everyone gave up on Guilded), which will probably solve most of the issues you’re experiencing.
its considered off-platform which is against roblox ToS
this also applies to other social medias as well such as insta twitter/x etc
they side more legally liable then responsible to avoid hot water
