Can someone clarify IsPaidItemTradingAllowed? I don’t know whether some currencies (such as coins) that can be get by both regular playing and paying are allowed to trade if this is false.
If you’re wondering, yes, I already checked the PolicyService API, but it didn’t make clear explanations, thats why I’m asking here.
An announcement for a similar policy on random paid item trading states that an item is only considered to not be a “paid item” if there is no way to pay for it with robux, directly or indirectly like through an in-game “coin” currency which can be purchased with robux.
To allow more trading that isn’t affected by the policy:
try selling items with a separate currency that can’t be paid for or
distinguish items that could’ve been purchased with robux and restrict their trades specifically
So basically I cannot let restricted users trade ANYTHING that can be bought with Robux even if it is not only limited to Paying with Robux, am I correct?
Yes, that is correct. If it’s possible to pay for it, purchases can’t be verified to not be affiliated with spending robux so its trading has to be restricted.
