Server microprofiler stuck in "recording" state

When attempting to use the server microprofiler, it ends up stuck in the “recording” state. Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open the F9 menu
  2. Go to the microprofiler section
  3. Start a server microprofiler recording
  4. It will be stuck in the “Recording” state.

This seems to happen in any place, and it also seems to be happening to others as well when I asked around.

running Windows
CPU: i7-12700kf
GPU: RTX 3060
RAM: 32gb ddr5
