Hi, this is my first semi-realistic showcase "Shabby Alley"
About the Project
I spent about 3-4 days on this project, I wanted to polish it a bit more and make a few more areas before opening the place, but I’m happy with how it’s came together
More Info
This build was based off of Maarten Hof’s 3D art piece Shabby Alleyway, the showcase itself was entirely built by me besides a few open source textures I found online and some meshes (Some meshes were re-textured by me to match the source image). buildthomas’s rain plugin was used as well!
This showcase features a locked camera that switches camera angles when you move to different areas, credit to my good friend @Kolbias for providing this
I’m in love with the games design, very detailed with a nice feeling when you have the volume on. Could work on the lighting a little but overall I’d give this a 10/10
I have two words: Oh My God. Wait… that was three words. But seriously dude, it took me a second to realize that you made this in Roblox. The lighting is beautiful, and you provide a background that creates a more urban environment, ultimately providing aid toward the overall “vibe.”
Hey! I really love this showcase and I enjoyed playing it, but I have a suggestion for you.
It would be great if you added a free cam so players can play themselves because something, robloxians don’t really like this kind of environment which could affect the gameplay for them.
My favourite part of this showcase is the door’s lighting. I just look at it and enjoy just watching these sun strings going out of this little door. Thank you for creating this wonderful project!
The unique positioning of the camera in this game really plays a part in making this showcase so fascinating. The small yet impressive details (such as the shoe swaying/dangling from the telephone wire) makes the game feel so realistic, and I am glad I got the chance to play this.
This game is so underrated and deserves much more exposure! Great job with this creation!
