Shadow Rendering Problem

Thought this was quite strange, when I get closer to the building this shadow appears but when I back up it disappears. Both graphics are on 21, using the automatic setting, I’ve tried reopening studio, nothing has worked. Any idea on why this would be happening? Honestly don’t know if this is a bug or what.

Not really need to be worried about. However you can turn off the cast shadow and then you won’t have shadows. It’s a known issue and it’s happening to me too when I’m on a slow device such as laptop.

It is because of Roblox rendering, not sure if you can make it look better or make the shadows render from further, but its really common and its not really like a problem or something you should worry about

Looks like LOD (level of detail) doing its job to me. This is so your system doesn’t have to do too much work which helps scale games across devices and hardware of all types. No real way to manually increase the shadow distance as a developer besides turn your graphics up which has already been done.

This has happened to me too recently, as I’m moving towards objects, their shadows look odd. Yesterday, I was adding in parts and the shadow was so bad to the point where it could’ve gave someone a seizure, so I closed and reopened studio.

I do believe that this may be a bug as it’s never happened before.
