ShadowMap shadows not rendering correctly

In any game that uses ShadowMap lighting, the shadows seem to be “pixelated” in a sense. Also happens in Studio. Noticed it after my Mac updated to macOS 10.15.4.

Well, that’s because shadow maps are pixellated. Try turning up ShadowSoftness in Lighting and let me know if that doesn’t solve your issue.

Look at the pink and white building in the first picture. That’s what he is talking about, rather than regular optimized jagged shadows.

Oh. Well that certainly looks like a Roblox bug. Ignore my post then.

This issue is still happening. This is a picture in Robloxian Highschool taken in Studio.

Does this happen on an empty baseplate?

Was able to get a repro, only seems to be happening to BaseParts that have CastShadow turned off.

This issue is occurring on my game now, specially when changing clock time.

You can reproduce the shadows issue by simply adding a model or a part that casts shadows, and adding a local script that changes clock time per heartbeat by delta divided by 32 or 64.
