ShadowMap Shadows Only Render When Close

Hi there, I’ve been trying to create a realistic forest scene within studio and when building it in studio it looks great and renders really well, here’s a photo of the scene in studio:

However when I go to play it in studio the shadows don’t render until the player is very close, and I’m unaware as to why this occurs, I have made many other games previously where the shadows render in the whole scene and this is the first time that it has happened, I was wondering if there’s a solution to this or if it is a new feature as I’m unaware as to what’s causing it, it also seems to form a radius of rendered shadow around the player. Any help or ways to fix this would be greatly appreciated :smile:

Is your graphics level set to 10? If it is, then this must just be the limit that Roblox has set for performance.

Well this is embarrassing, yes that was the problem. Totally overlooked that as my graphics are always at 10 but nonetheless thank you.
