We launched Today’s Picks on Marketplace in July and have been so impressed by the amazing creativity of this community. Since Today’s Picks was launched, we have featured 553 items from 270 creators across the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland.
Starting September 23rd, we will be celebrating Fashion Week by showcasing the talented designers and rising stars of our fashion community in Today’s Picks. We’re on the lookout for high fashion, creative, and couture 3D layered clothing items to showcase on Roblox.
What we’re looking for:
High Fashion: Runway looks, innovative designs, and trend-setting styles that push the envelope
Creative Designs: Unique and imaginative pieces that stand out and reflect original artistry
Couture: Luxurious and sophisticated clothing items with intricate details and a touch of elegance
Eligibility
To be featured in Roblox’s fashion week, creators can submit their items using this survey. Selected items will be featured in Today’s Picks in Marketplace throughout September. Due to the volume of submissions, we will only notify you if you’ve been selected for Today’s Picks on Marketplace.
FAQs
How are items chosen?
Items featured in Today’s Picks on Marketplace are chosen by a group of in-house editors from across the organization. The content highlighted covers various categories, including new and notable items as well as those that are seasonally or culturally relevant. To be featured, creators and their items must abide by our Community Standards and Marketplace policy to be featured.
How many items can I submit?
At this time, each item can only be submitted one at a time and we ask creators to limit themselves to 10 to help us manage the volume.
Do people really care about fashion and “couture” on the internet? I thought they wanted to be dragons and warriors and monsters and aliens (in silly hats I suppose). Hope to see room in these sorts of highlights for the fantastical too.
I have a suspicious feeling that Dress To Impress will get into Today’s Pick
Just a feeling though
What event is fashion week? Kind of an odd choice for the first (that I know of) occurrence of a national day / days setting the theme for Today’s Pick
