Small Humanoids (BodyScale 0.5 and lower) have an “ice skating” effect when moving around. It takes a long time for them to accelerate / decelerate. This issue may have regressed if it was previously fixed.
I have created a simple open source repro place here to see the issue clearly. Default humanoid size is set to 0.2.
TLDR: A while back a flag was changed so that the force being applied on a humanoid now messes up small bois. You can fix this problem by changing some physics properties (detailed in the post).
I also think there was a mod post about this but I can’t find it…
I’ve seen that post, it is not a solution or even an acceptable workaround.
Also, I consider it grounds for a new bug report if the previous bug reports were over a year ago, as it’s possible this was addressed at some point and this issue is a recent regression.
